Turn your laptop or desktop computer or your portable audio and video devices into a complete system with Logitech’s X-120 compact powered speakers. At roughly 4 x 8 x 5 inches each (W x H x D), the speakers are small enough to take on trips where you’ll be holed up in a hotel for any length of time. Their bass-ported enclosures, 2.2-inch drivers, and 2 watts-per-channel power produce surprisingly full-bodied sound, which Logitech rates at an optimistically broad-ranging (but favorably telling) 80 to 18,000 Hz. The set features a unified bass/treble tone control to tailor the sound. Setup and operation couldn’t be easier. Plug your ancillary devices into the speakers’ stereo minijack audio input, connect the left and right speakers via the supplied audio interconnect, hook up the AC power adapter, and fire up your music or video program. The X-120s have their power supply built into one of the speakers, so you won’t have to hunt out an AC outlet with enough clearance for a bulky wall-wart power block. A headphone jack affords private listening–perfect when using the speakers with a component that lacks a headphone jack or, more likely, a headphone volume control. What’s in the Box Speakers, a left/right audio interconnect, an AC power adapter, a user’s manual, and warranty info.
Logitech’s X-120 stereo speakers have the sound and features you expect from Logitech. User friendly controls and improved acoustic design provide an enhanced audio experience. Distinctively designed satellites use a bass port to provide a full, rich sound. The X-120’s controls include power, volume, and combined treble and bass for customizable audio balance.

You get what you pay for
They’re okay in the world of super cheap speakers. The slight hum they have even when turned all the way down is quite annoying.

Solid speakers
Excellent sound for the price, good and solid build. However be advised if you connect your headphones through them it will sound a lot worse.

Residual Humming is very very very annoying.
When there is sound for these speakers to play, its fine and sounds quite nice. However, regardless of the volume setting, there is a residual hum which only stops when you turn…

a Lot of speaker for the money
These are top quality speakers, they sound great and you can use them for paper weights. These aren’t the light plastic I’ve been used to seeing in entry level speakers.

No Cell Phone Problems
I bought these speakers because my old ones would interfere with my cell phone. These speakers do not.

Excellent for the price.
for $20, these speakers sound pretty good. They have separate treble/bass and volume level controls, a headphone output, and more than adequate power for novice music playing.

Good and Bad
I bought these for a 1.25 Ghz G4 PowerMac, hoping to find an inexpensive speaker solution. The sound from these guys is pretty decent, especially for the price.
