The CA-3080 is an affordable three-piece flat-panel subwoofer system. The two 2.5-inch magnetically shielded satellite speakers take up a small amount of space and can be placed next to monitors or other video devices without causing distortion. The 4-inch, 14-watt high-excursion subwoofer provides excellent bass performance for music and digital audio applications. This is a great solution for those with limited desktop space.
The first thing that strikes you about this speaker system is its elegance. When you hear the price tag your thoughts turn to “unbelievable, how can a system like this be so affordable? ” Then there is the performance, complete with a wooden subwoofer cabinet and flat panel satellite speakers, are powered by a built-in 26 watt amplifier. The deep rich bass response and crystal clear highs are balanced perfectly.

Cheap speakers
I needed extra speakers immediately for a last minute project and had to buy these at Radio Shack because they were the closest store that was open.

Great for the price, or twice as much
I bought a pair of these at Micro Center. I had a 20 year old Sony TV with a great picture, and a worn out speaker. Any shop repair would have cost over $100.

I gave them a try but i’ll still with my old ones
Staples had these for $15 so I thought I would try them out see if they were any better than my PC’s OEM Speakers.

Great speakers for the price, but not for the extremely discerning
They sound really good and they look techy too. The sound is a bit “tinnier” than I would have liked, but the bass from the subwoofer is great.

You Get What You Pay For (and more)
Amen to the previous reviewers’ remarks about $.99 burgers, etc. Had to replace my old Altec Lansing subwoofer set, and found this to be worthy replacement.

Don’t believe the bad reviews for this speaker.
The people writing unfavorable reviews on the CA 3080 either have recieved defective speakers or else they are comparing them to speakers costing two or three times as much…

These speakers are not worth the asking price!!!
I purchased these speakers today and hooked them up. I clicked on my iTunes, and then Van Halen’s “Hot For Teacher”. The sound quality was crap!

Um…don’t believe all the bad reviews
First of all, for less than $30, you’re not going to find much better than these speakers. Secondly, for less than $30, you shouldn’t be expecting Bose quality sound.

New Improved 3080
The new black version of CA-3080 is quite nice for the money and the sound is reasonable. The bass control has a wide range so you can vary the amount of thump you want, although…
