Amp up the audio from your digital audio player or gaming console with the three-piece Altec Lansing FX6021 speaker system. Using Altec Lansing’s proprietary InConcert technology, sound is directed straight ahead and to the sides, not up and down as you’ll find with other three-piece speaker systems. The FX6021 has two ultra-slim satellites with a flat profile that feature a total of twelve one-inch neodymium micro drivers, with each pair of micro drivers powered by its own discrete amplifier. Rattle the room with low frequency bass from a 6.5-inch ported subwoofer set in a low-resonance wooden cabinet. The satellite speakers offer 12.5 watts of power apiece while the subwoofer pumps out 50 watts–for a 75-watt total. Altec Lansing’s InConcert uses three separate amplifiers to power a total of 12 high-performance, full-range micro drivers. A frequency filtering system beams intense, concentrated audio straight out. You’ll get sound that is pure, clean, and uncluttered by reflections from the ceiling or floor. Whether you’re sitting in front of the speakers or several feet away, you’ll hear every nuance of sound with virtually no volume drop off. The FX6021 comes with wireless remote and a wired control pod, both of which can control bass, treble and master volume. With the auxiliary input jack, you can connect to two different audio sources (such as your PC and an MP3 jukebox) at the same time. It also features a headphone jack for private listening. What’s in the Box This package contains 2 satellites (with bases), 1 subwoofer, wired controller, wireless remote, 3.5 mm audio cable, and printed manual.

Top sound quality
These babies replaced my Full deck 2 column, 3 way pioneer set. Supposedly computer speakers, they do far better.

Worth the Price
I was a bit nervous about this purchase because of the mixed reviews on this site, but I did the research and decided to go for it. I’m glad I did.

Altec Lansing’s customer service is pathetic
I purchased a set of these speakers after carefull consideration for my girlfriend. The controller for the volume both remote and hard wired lasted all of one day before failing…

Great quality
I’m confused about two things: 1.Ratings of less than 4 stars for these speakers and 2. Ratings of more than 3 stars for the Logitech Z2300.

Audiophile speakers in disguise
What a great set of speakers! They are accurate and uncolored, and are a quantum leap above all of the other computer speakers to which I have listened.

Excellent sound.
It is a good acquisition for a good price. The sound is wonderful and there are a variety of electronics it can work with, not only computers but TV, CD players and many others.

Big improvement
Nice looking, sounding computer speakers. The bass is really strong and the lowest setting is all that is required really.

FX6021 Mixer-type input may be a negative
Having owned several top-rated small hi-fi speakers in the below $400 category, I concurred with other reviewers that these speakers are exceptionally smooth for its price…
